Terms of Service — LumiYah

LumiYah is a web-based service that lets creators turn original Christian worship songs and Bible verses into short vertical videos, and publish them to their own social media accounts.
By using LumiYah, you agree to these Terms of Service.
1. Availability of the service
LumiYah is currently in an early development phase. Access is limited to invited creators while the service is being validated. This does not change how the service works or how your data is handled.
2. Licence to share the LumiYah catalogue
The songs, artwork and Bible verse selections offered in LumiYah are the property of LumiYah. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, revocable and royalty-free licence to publish videos generated by the service to the social media accounts you have connected to it.
This licence is granted on three conditions:
- the LumiYah credit must remain in place — it is embedded in the video and added to the caption, and must not be removed or obscured;
- the videos must be published as generated, without re-editing the music or altering the Bible verse;
- they must not be used in a way that is unlawful, hateful, misleading, or that misrepresents LumiYah as endorsing you, your organisation or your message.
This licence does not transfer any ownership. It does not allow you to redistribute, sell or sub-license the music on its own, outside the videos the service produces. We may revoke it at any time, in which case you agree to remove the affected content within a reasonable period.
3. Your responsibilities
The caption you write, the picture you may upload and the audience you choose are yours. You remain responsible for them, and for complying with the rules of the platform you publish to.
If you upload a picture, you confirm that you own it or have permission to use and publish it. Remember that the resulting video carries LumiYah music and the LumiYah credit: a picture you have no right to use puts our name at stake alongside yours. We may remove any content that breaches this, and withdraw the licence granted in section 2.
You agree not to use LumiYah to publish content that is unlawful, that infringes the rights of others, or that breaches the terms of the platform it is published to.
4. Connecting your TikTok account
When you connect your TikTok account to LumiYah, you authorise LumiYah to use the TikTok API features needed to publish content on your behalf, strictly within the permissions you granted.
LumiYah never publishes anything automatically. Every post is the result of an explicit action you take in the interface, after you have reviewed the video, the caption and the audience setting.
You can withdraw this authorisation at any time by disconnecting your account in LumiYah, or by revoking access from your TikTok account settings. Disconnecting deletes the access and refresh tokens LumiYah holds for your account.
Your use of TikTok remains governed by TikTok's own terms, including the Music Usage Confirmation.
5. Intellectual property
Content, trademarks, logos and other elements belonging to LumiYah remain the property of their respective owners.
The songs, recordings, artwork and verse selections offered by the service remain the property of LumiYah and its rights holders. Your right to use them is the licence described in section 2, and nothing more.
The captions you write remain yours. LumiYah claims no ownership over them and uses them only to carry out the publication you request.
6. Service continuity
LumiYah may be temporarily unavailable, in particular for maintenance reasons or because of limitations, interruptions or changes to third-party platform services.
7. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated where necessary to reflect changes to the service or to legal and technical requirements. The date at the top of this page indicates the latest revision.
